Choral Music

Two choral music groups sing at worship throughout the church year. Our Celebration Chorale (senior choir) is open to anyone who enjoys singing high school age and older. The Celebration Chorale sings two Sundays a month plus presents our annual Christmas at Peace concert each December. They rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM and occasionally sing at nursing homes in the area.

The Praise Singers is a select group that sings on every 5th Sunday month, for special occasions like our Community Thanksgiving Service in November, Christmas at Peace plus nursing homes in the area. The summer provides an opportunity for our singers to provide music for worship as soloists or in ensembles. We love singing new songs unto the Lord!

Instrumental Music

Instrumentalists have an opportunity to perform in worship throughout the year accompanying congregational songs and occasionally the Celebration Chorale and Praise Singers. They also participate in either our Peace Wind Ensemble or Jazz for Jesus big band for the Community Thanksgiving Service. On the years when Peace UMC produces a musical, many of our instrumentalists have played in our pit orchestras or bands. Summer is also a time for instrumental soloists and ensembles to provide music for worship.
