News for the Week of June 1

Nina Bertelsen will be graduating from Mounds View High School on June 1st.  She will attend UW-MADISON in the fall with a focus on communication and p ublic relations. Nina has been a part of the Peace church family all her life and each of you have influenced the person she has become.   Her family invites you to join them in celebrating her success on Saturday June 6th from 4-8 pm at the Bertelsen Abode, 5714 Pond Drive, Shoreview. 

Luke Christianson Graduated from University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee with a BFA in Film.  He plans to move to Los Angeles in the fall.   

Taylor Gray will be graduating from Mounds View High School on June 1st.  He will be attending the University of St. Thomas with a focus on engineering.   

Megan Shuldes graduated from the University of Minnesota's College of Biological Sciences (BS in Biology).  This fall, she will start the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Indianapolis. 

Tom & Pam Jacobson are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in June.  Together with their children, they would like to invite you over to their house (331 Lilac St, Lino Lakes) to celebrate with a root beer keg, floats and lawn games.  The celebration will be on Saturday, June 20th from 2-5 PM.  Feel free to bring a lawn chair and games!  

As we are about to start our summer season, we would like to inform/remind people the Pride Parade will be held, once again, on the last Sunday in June June 28th).  This year we would like as many friends and members of Peace church to attend as possible.  Keep your eyes on this space for more announcements! ~The Reconciling Committee, Peace UMC
