Youth in Church

Pre Kindergarten
We have a nursery in close vicinity of worship staffed by older youth volunteers if you would like an alternative for your child during service.  Children of all ages are welcome to join Pastor Gary during the Children's Moment portion of service.  Ages three and up are welcome to join Vacation Bible School the first week in August.

K – 5th Grade
Sunday School for Preschool to 5th grade takes place after the Children's time during the church service. We have a rotating teacher schedule for each age group and work with the GrowProclaimServe curriculum. Our mission is to nurture the children's knowledge and faith during this time while engaging in enjoyable activities with their teachers and peers.

6th - 8th Grade - CIA (Christians in Action)
We emphasize service by engaging the youth in the community through service projects, such as the Good Neighbor Meals, Feed My Starving Children, and our Christmas project. The service projects become an important form of Christian fellowship. This fellowship goal is also emphasized in our Sunday meetings, where the youth interact informally, as well as formally in discussions of faith.

9th - 12th Grade - Senior High
High School - High School Students are invited to participate in Jamaica Service Trips every even year and Midwest Regional trips every odd year as well as other local service projects. The Senior High group also meets weekly following worship for Christian fellowship and faith development using the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. Then we through in a couple of fun activities during the school year like swimming, bowling or movie night to round things out.

Reformers - (Confirmation)  Reformers is split between two groups, the 8th and 9th Graders.  Reformers meets Sundays after service at 11:30am - 12:30pm one to two times a month with an occasional field trip.  The education for this group of youth focuses on opening minds, broadening one's perspective and empowering all to make a difference by sharing God's love.
